We arrived in Hambantota cruise port and were swamped by tuk tuk drivers and tour guides. It was quite overwhelming. However, there was one lovely lady, with the brightest smile, who politely kept a distance and waved and smiled at us. We instantly knew who we would like to show us around this beautiful part of Sri Lanka... and by the end of the tour we knew we had chosen well. The day was amazing, visiting the Elephant Sanctuary, going cross country and seeing elephants, monkeys, lizards, huge bats, and much more living in the wild. We visited Saku's temple and were introduced to her monk and received a blessing, before heading off to meet Saku's family. We were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that will forever be a treasured memory. A truly authentic, friendly, interesting and bespoke experience. We will definitely be booking Saku again to take us exploring more of this incredible place when we return. Thank you Saku and best wishes with your business and to your lovely family.
